A remix of the classic mashed potatoes is one you have to make this holiday. The natural sweetness of the potatoes couple with savoury herbs makes this dish a delicious staple side to have on your dining table.
INGREDIENTS
- 3-5 Large Sweet Potatoes
- 125g Salted Butter
- 2 tbsp minced garlic
- 1/2 cup cream
- 1/4 cup full cream milk
- 1 stick of fresh coriander (finely chopped)
- Salt and pepper to taste
HOW TO MAKE IT
- Peel the skin and chop your sweet potatoes into large pieces. Boil in generously salted water until soft when poked with a fork.
- In a bowl (if you’re using a hand mash) or a food processor, combine boiled sweet potatoes and all the other ingredients together and mash/blend until the potatoes are smooth.
- Serve immediately topped with melted butter and more finely chopped coriander leaves (optional).
