Forget being on the nice list this holidays because this hot cocoa recipe is as naughty as it can be. Thick, creamy and decadent, this naughty hot cocoa will make you crave for more.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 Mug of full cream milk
- 2 mugs of heavy cream
- 1 cup of sifted cocoa powder
- 1 stick of cinnamon
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 350g semi-sweet chocolate chips
- A pinch of sea salt
- Whipped cream For Topping (optional)
- Extra cocoa powder for topping (optional)
HOW TO MAKE IT
- In a pot on low heat, pour in milk, cream, cinnamon stick and sifted cocoa powder.
- Stir with a whisk until cocoa powder is well combined and no lumps are left in the milk. Let it heat up for 15 mins, making sure the milk does not go to a boil.
- Add in chocolate chips and a pinch of salt. Stir until chocolate has melted and hot cocoa has thickened to your desired consistency. The longer you leave it on the stove, the thicker it’ll be.
- Serve immediately, topped with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cocoa powder.
